Hello All, A quick update on the karate news front this week:📍 Browns Bay Dojo – Monday 3rd November There will be no training tonight as the hall is in use by the owners. Please join us instead on Tuesday in Ōrewa!🚗 Ōrewa Entrance Update As you may have noticed, the Ōrewa entrance now has barriers. These should automatically raise from 5:15 PM onwards to allow entry for class. When leaving, the barrier will also automatically open. However, if you are dropping off and picking up later, please ensure pickup is before 7:30 PM, as the barriers will not raise after that. If arriving after 7:30 PM, students will need to walk up to the road to be collected. 🗓️ Upcoming Events – November🔸 Squad Training – Saturday 15th November Time: 10:45 AM – 1:00 PMMat Fee: $5 Bring your usual equipment. This will be our final squad training for 2025. 🔸 Beginners Grading – Friday 29th November Location: Browns Bay DojoTime: From 10:45 AM until finishedFee: $50 Please bring your JKS Registration Booklet. 🎄 December Events 🔸 Final Training Days for 2025Browns Bay: Wednesday 10th December Ōrewa: Thursday 12th December 🔸 End-of-Year Grading – Saturday 6th December Venue: To be announced This grading is for students eligible to grade from orange belt upwards. Eligibility depends on time since your last grading and skills attained. Please check with me if you believe you’re ready to grade. 🔸 18th Annual JKS Christmas in the Park – Sunday 14th December A celebration of the year that was!
